Piano lacquer finishing at production scale requires dedicated infrastructure that most wood packaging manufacturers in Taiwan do not maintain. CY Atelier is among the few that do.
The process demands precision at every layer: multiple coats of polyester lacquer applied in controlled workshop conditions, each coat sanded by hand before the next. The result is a mirror-depth surface with no visible grain, no orange peel, no compromise — a finish that transforms a wooden box into the first impression of whatever it protects.
Piano lacquer is not a decorative upgrade that any finishing shop can add. It requires dedicated spray booths, temperature-controlled curing, trained operators who read the surface by touch, and the patience to reject a batch rather than ship it flawed. Most manufacturers outsource it or avoid it entirely.
